UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is presenting East Midland's
businesses with global market opportunities thanks to an
international Emerging Markets event they are hosting, in
partnership with East Midlands International Trade Association
(emita), at Sir Denis Rooke Building, Holywell Park, Loughborough
on 25 February 2010.
The half day event that runs from 09.00 - 13.20 and concludes
with a networking lunch brings together a wealth of experience from
overseas business experts who are hosting a variety of workshops on
the day.
Delegates who attend the Emerging Markets event can expect a
full itinerary packed with information on how to identify
opportunities in the emerging markets of India, Singapore &
Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand & Vietnam, Turkey and UAE
& Qatar.
Emerging Markets boasts of an impressive line up of guest
speakers from the President of Boeing UK, Sir Roger Bone to the
Economist Intelligence Unit's Senior Analyst for South Asia,
Anjalika Bardalai.
Workshops will provide market overviews which address current
trading conditions and business opportunities and offer practical
advice on accessing the market and overcoming the challenges it may
pose.
Juliet Pask, Manager of emita said: "The Emerging Markets
event offers a blend of presentations and market specific workshops
including case studies from inspiring and informative speakers, one
to one advice and an exhibition of key partners and trade
organisations.
"There will also be the opportunity to learn from the
experiences of local companies who are already doing business in
these markets, together with a chance to hear how to tap into the
Indian market through establishing joint ventures.
"Delegates who attend will discover the possibilities that await
them in these emerging markets and will gain access to the advice
they need to assist them to achieve their goals."
