Coventry University is to offer a Masters of Business Management
to students at Globsyn Business School, based in Kolkata and
Ahmedabad, who will study on an intensive one-year validation
programme.
Coventry and Globsyn have been linked for over four years;
through student exchange programmes and dual programme provision
and now have taken the next step by offering a validated degree
programme to be delivered in India.

Bikram Dasgupta, Chairman and CEO, Globsyn Group,
commented: "With the launch of the MBM program we have moved a
step closer to fulfilling our mission of providing Indian students
with all the benefits of a global education while keeping down the
costs. I am extremely proud of my team who have, over the past 4
years, developed an entire academic delivery rigour system and its
ensuing process and methodology frameworks, which is today at par
with the best available systems in the world. They have worked
tirelessly over months to give shape to the programme and pass the
extremely intensive validation process with flying colours. I look
forward to my team developing more such programs in the
future."
Dr. David Pilsbury, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, International
Development, Coventry University, UK also commented: "We are
delighted to launch this new programme along with Globsyn Business
School, which we have partnered for over four years. We have been
very impressed with the Academic Delivery System that is being
followed by Globsyn, which to my mind is among the best systems
that I have seen. While I commend both the teams from Coventry and
Globsyn for working hard to make the program see the light of the
day so quickly and efficiently, I look forward to both the
institutions introducing more such validated programmes in the near
future."
