Rugby company, MSS Lasers Ltd, is moving to the iQuarter office
and industrial scheme, after purchasing two units from developers
Highcross.
The industrial units, which total 15,181 sq ft, have been
purchased in a £1.1 million deal. Highcross has now sold all
the industrial/warehouse space at the 11-acre development, with
just one industrial unit still available for rent.
In December, Highcross sold six industrial units at iQuarter,
ranging from 3,613 sq ft to 12,264 sq ft, in a £2.3 million
deal. The units, which are let to a range of occupiers,
including Orscheln and Airwave Solutions, were purchased by private
investors, represented by Strutt & Parker Private Investors.
The sale of the six units took just three weeks from agreement of
terms to completion.
Highcross was represented by Lambert Smith Hampton and M3 in
both deals. The iQuarter scheme, which was jointly developed with
Danescroft, also includes office units from 995 sq ft - 2,002 sq ft
and a headquarters office building. The development is located
adjacent to Junction 1 of the M6.
Highcross commercial development director, Chris Mills, said:
"With its excellent transport links and high quality units, the
iQuarter development has been quick to attract expanding local
companies since its completion. We are delighted to have agreed
these significant investment sales, which also reflect the quality
of the occupiers and lease arrangements in place."
