Two new property sales have been secured at Trentham South part
of Trentham Lakes, the 400 acre business and leisure community
being developed by Stoke on Trent Regeneration Ltd, a joint venture
between St. Modwen and Stoke on Trent City Council.
One of the sales has been secured at Trentham Trade Park, where
precision engineering specialists Gemini Controls has expanded into
a 5,000 sq ft unit from nearby premises in Stoke-on-Trent. The
other sale is at neighbouring Trentham Business Quarter, where
independent travel company Blue Bay Travel, which specialises in
Caribbean holidays, has purchased a 1,820 sq ft unit for its UK
headquarters.
The deals leave just one of a total of 27 properties remaining
at Trentham Business Quarter and one of 13 properties remaining at
thriving Trentham Trade Park. Trentham Office Village, which is
also part of Trentham South, has its final property, Building Four,
totalling over 10,500 sq ft, currently under offer.
"This impending deal coupled with the latest sales at Trentham
South is a clear sign that not only is the market in Stoke-on-Trent
continuing to strengthen but also that Trentham Lakes is fast
establishing a reputation as a leading business location,"
commented Andrew Cox, development surveyor for St. Modwen. "The
development is proving hugely successful in attracting businesses
across a spectrum of sectors with the balance between national and
local companies providing added commercial strength and gravitas
through diversity."
Widely recognised as the home of Stoke City Football Club's
Britannia Stadium, a project that kick-started the wider
regeneration of Trentham Lakes, the highly successful scheme has
to-date attracted over 50 commercial occupiers across its Trade
Park, Office Village and Business Quarter, with 70 acres of the
site left to develop. Existing occupiers include Lexus, Audi,
Screwfix, Pets at Home and Glen Dimplex with onsite amenities
including Holiday Inn Express, Greens Health and Fitness, plus
other sporting, retail and dining facilities.
