Top students from a Stourbridge school were rewarded for their
outstanding results on Tuesday (January 5) by local accountancy
firm Nicklin LLP.
The firm has donated £500 to the prize fund at King Edward
VI College in Stourbridge to sponsor the Nicklin Prize for
Accountancy.
The first prize was awarded to Emma Collins, who was a student
at the college from 2007 to 2009.
Chris Cook, Director at Nicklin LLP, said: "We know how hard all
the students have to work to achieve such good grades, and we were
very impressed with Emma's dedication. Businesses in Halesowen need
hard-working people like her.
"We are grateful to be able to forge links with the school and
are thrilled to be playing an active role in helping pupils to move
smoothly into the world of work."
