Demand for industrial and warehouse space at Fenton Trade Park
is on the rise with over 26,000 sq ft of space occupied and a
further 7,385 sq ft under offer at the development.
The Trade Park forms part of Fenton 25, a 25 acre site which is
being developed by Stoke-On-Trent Regeneration Ltd, a joint venture
between St. Modwen and the City of Stoke-on-Trent, which has the
potential for a minimum of 40 further acres of development.
The Trade Park element of the development offers a total of
approximately four acres of industrial/warehouse space.
Recent sales at the development include 10,000 sq ft
encompassing four units sold to Oriental Carpets and Rugs,
following the company's relocation from smaller premises within the
city. One Stop Grow Shop has purchased a 2,820 sq ft unit at the
development, while Simon Dean Motor Services has purchased a 2,500
sq ft unit. Both companies have relocated to the Trade Park
in order to take advantage of larger, contemporary premises.
With 7,385 sq ft also under off at Fenton Trade Park, demand for
premises is on the increase, as Andrew Cox, development surveyor
for St. Modwen explains: "To have sold ten units and have a further
three under offer within a matter of months is a clear sign that
the market in Stoke-on-Trent is picking up and that Fenton Trade
Park's excellent access to the A50 and wider arterial routes is
making it a popular choice for businesses. A total of seven
local companies have now chosen to expand their premises within
Stoke-on-Trent by relocating to Fenton Trade Park and this is a
clear sign that Staffordshire is continuing to lead the field in
the industrial and distribution sectors. We are confident
this trend will continue during 2010 and expect to see further
interest in properties at Fenton Trade Park as the market begins to
show further signs of improvement."
Located around a central service yard, Fenton Trade Park offers
a range of industrial, business and distribution units available
for lease or purchase. The Park enjoys a convenient location
close to the A50 with swift access to the A500 and wider motorway
network.
