Specialist insurance law firm Browne Jacobson has recruited
business analyst Max Jarlsson into its insurance sector fraud team
in Birmingham.
Jarlsson will report directly to Scott Bowers, the recently
appointed Head of Counter Fraud at the law firm.
Max joins Browne Jacobson from Safe Patient Systems Ltd where he
was a Business Analyst. Prior to that he worked for both Infiniti
Limited and MCL Software Limited, developing anti-fraud and
security systems including working on the globally successful
Hunter and Hunter II fraud detection tool.
Other notable achievements include delivering anti-fraud systems
for the financial and security sectors to prevent losses worth more
than £50m and developing innovative medical software systems
for a number of NHS partner organisations.
Scott Bowers, Head of the Counter Fraud Unit at Browne Jacobson,
said: "Max's appointment is an important piece of the jigsaw
as we put the final touches to the team that will enable us to
develop a bespoke front-end counter fraud detection system for our
clients.
"He has significant experience in the analysis, design and
delivery of market leading anti-fraud systems for a number of
blue-chip clients and has worked alongside SOCA and the Counter
Terrorist Teams at the Metropolitan Police in conjunction with the
Security Service.
"His expertise will prove invaluable as we move ahead with our
product development plans for a best-of-breed fraud detection
solution which will give clients access to the critical
intelligence they need."
