East Midlands businesses have the opportunity to learn business Russian for beginners thanks to an innovative event hosted by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). 

Business Russian for Beginners is designed to help companies interested in Russian business opportunities to enter the market with a good knowledge of the basics required to communicate effectively with potential Russian clients.

UKTI are offering three Business Russian for Beginners events. The first and second event will take place at the Gateway Hotel in Nottingham on 2nd and 4th of February, while the third and final event will take place at the Yew Lodge Hotel in Kegworth on February 12th.

All three events are set to be packed with useful information and practical hints and tips on how to make the best first impression with Russian business counterparts. Attendees can expect to learn Russian meeting and greeting etiquette, familiarise themselves with the terminology for days, dates and numbers, understand how to ask for things in a polite and respectful manner and get a good grasp of general business and social phrases
