Solicitors
As we enter the busiest time of the year for divorce rates,
Lichfield and Cannock law firm Ansons Solicitors is offering an
initial free family law consultation to help people understand the
implications of divorce.
Family law partner, Susan Davies commented: "In the lead up to
it, January 4th 2010 was commonly referred to as D-Day within the
legal profession as it will prove to be the busiest day of 2010 for
filing for divorce. D-Day is usually first Monday after children
return to school and is normally brought on by the multiple
pressures of Christmas.
"If you are considering a divorce then I would recommend you
seek legal advice, not only to guide you through the process, but
to also help you seek a fair and sensible settlement".
The free 30 minute consultation can actually be used to discuss
any aspect of family law and not just divorce and separation.
Issues such as residence and contact disputes, civil partnerships,
pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements and name changes can also
be discussed.
Susan concluded: "Although divorce is perceived to be a negative
matter it can actually be a positive course of action for many
people".
