ahead of the 1st January VAT increase
Mercedes-Benz of Leicester is urging car buyers to act now
before the government calls time on the 15 per cent VAT rate in
just a matter of days.
VAT will return to 17.5 per cent on 1st January, 2010, but the
St Georges Way retailer's sales team is busy spreading the word to
local motorists who might be considering a new Mercedes-Benz that
there is still time for them to benefit from the lower
rate.
By ordering their new Mercedes-Benz now rather in the new year,
car buyers will save themselves hundreds of pounds, but there are
even more reasons for them to contact Mercedes-Benz of Leicester
sooner rather than later.
The retailer has unprecedented finance offers available on a
vast selection of models from its acclaimed range. Like the current
VAT rate though, these attractive finance packages must come to an
end on 31st December, 2009.
As Sales Manager Dougie Singh explains, now really is the best
time for customers to purchase their new car.
"There really never has been a better time to buy a new
Mercedes-Benz - there are unprecedented offers across the range, we
can provide a strong part exchange valuation on motorists' current
vehicles, and there's the opportunity to beat the VAT rise and also
any increases in the annual road fund licence that may occur early
next year," said Dougie.
"We're dedicated to making prestige motoring as affordable as
possible and motorists who want their new Mercedes-Benz to
represent ultimate value are urged to contact our sales team as
soon as they can."
