Approaching 100 professionals, representing some of the region's
most dynamic businesses, attended the 'invitation only' official
launch of Blusource Professional Services in Clarendon Street,
Nottingham recently.
Headed by CEO and well known East Midlands Entrepreneur Andrew
Springhall, the newly refurbished offices and business centre at 13
Clarendon Street, literally rolled out the 'blue' carpet and threw
open its doors for an evening of specially concocted cocktails,
jazz and poker. Lawyers, accountants, bankers, corporate financiers
together with professionals representing businesses across all the
professional platforms joined to celebrate the launch of Blusource
and its four specialist divisions - Legal, headed by Philip White;
Professional, headed by Ben Walker; Corporate, headed by
Christopher Eadie and Executive soon to be under the leadership of
Chris Bailey.
Held on Friday 13th, the event was also the springboard for a
new networking club called Friday 13th which Blusource is
sponsoring for the Midlands business community. Far from falling
prey to any superstitious activities, the auspicious date proved a
winner, with over 50 signing up to the networking group ahead of
the next big event on the Friday 13th calendar, a Star Studded
Poker Tournament on Tuesday 9th February 2010.
"The launch party was a great way for the team and myself to
thank everyone for their support during Blusource's first year of
trading and to celebrate its birthday! In addition, we wanted to
introduce the Friday 13th professional networking group, which we
are hoping to sponsor during 2010." Commented Andrew.
"I'm pleased that our building in Clarendon Street is already
becoming recognised as a centre for likeminded professionals and
business people to meet and network. To date, we've hosted
presentations by development groups; promoted synergy meetings with
entrepreneurs and held formal contract signings with investors in
new businesses. In addition, our adjacent business centre is now
home to a PR Consultancy; an independent financial practice and an
interior design business. The place has a real buzz to it - I love
it!"
So, talk about bucking the trend - in a year that has seen one
of the longest recessions in economic history Blusource and its
associates are bringing more than just a fresh approach to people,
it's a whole new fresh approach to networking, working together and
business in general!
