New recruits Neil Compton and Miles Fielding have joined the
award-winning Mundys estate agents in Lincoln.
The newcomers add to the company's 19-strong team which focuses
on providing a fully personalised service for prospective buyers
and sellers.
Sales Negotiator Neil (38), from Lincoln, has seven years'
experience in the property market, having worked in a similar role
for an international chain of estate agencies.
"I was so pleased to be offered this position as I was made
redundant last year and it's been difficult to find a similar job
because of the recent downturn in the property market," said
Neil.
He added: "It's a really friendly place to work and it's
fantastic to be part of an award-winning team that is trusted and
has such a brilliant reputation locally."
Neil now works in the Mundys office on Silver Street in Lincoln
dealing with customers, managing sales and identifying suitable
properties for prospective buyers.
"I enjoy talking to people, finding out want they want from a
property and then helping them find their ideal home," remarked
Neil. "The job is very satisfying and rewarding, especially when
dealing with first-time buyers who get really excited about their
first home."
Fresh out of university, graduate Miles Fielding (22) joined
Mundys as its newest Escorted Viewer and Sales Negotiator.
Despite having completed a degree in product design marketing
and innovation, Miles knew he wanted to become estate agent after
working for a lettings agent during his holidays.
"It's something I thought I'd be good at and I could see myself
having a career in this industry," said Miles.
Miles hopes to progress within the company and is currently
responsible for customer property viewings, working alongside other
sales negotiators to secure property sales.
"I'd heard good things about Mundys and I felt it would be a
great place to work," commented Miles. "There's good camaraderie
between colleagues and my role is very customer focused which I
particularly enjoy. Through offering a personalised service we get
to know our customers and find out about their
background."
Mundys Senior Partner Philip Barnatt added: "We're really
pleased to have both Miles and Neil on board.
"We've had a good year and we're hoping that they will
contribute to our future success in 2010 by helping us to develop
further and maintain our high standards of service which are
tailored to each customer."
