FarmGEM, the newly formed agricultural and horticultural sprayer
specialist which will launch its first trailed and mounted machines
at LAMMA (Lincolnshire Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers
Association) show in January 2010, has announced the first phase of
its UK dealership appointments.
All are sprayer specialists who will supply, service and support
the FarmGEM range.
They are: Acare Services Ltd, Bunkers Hill, Walsingham,
Norfolk, Anglia Sprayers Ltd, Lancaster Way,
Ely,Cambridgeshire, Central Cropsprayers Services, Sandford
Industrial Park, Sandford, Whitchurch, Shropshire, Kilnwick
Sprayers Ltd, Thorpefield Farm,Thorpe-le-Street, Yorkshire and
Wallaces of Kelso Ltd, Scotland (Borders and Fife).
In the East Midlands, covering Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire,
Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire, FarmGEM will supply
machines, parts and service direct to the farmer from its
Southwell, Nottinghamshire base.
"More dealer appointments will be announced after the LAMMA
exhibition," confirmed Terry Fixter, managing director.
The company, based at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, plans to
promote and sell a mid-range of trailed and mounted sprayers from
200 litres 2metre booms up to 4,000 litres capacity with boom
widths up to 28 metres both to the agricultural, horticultural and
leisure sectors.
The machines will be manufactured in Hungary by an associate
company, Farmgep, the country's leading sprayer manufacturer with
whom FarmGEM directors have enjoyed a long-standing and close
working relationship.
