Kind-hearted staff at BHSF headquarters in Birmingham are
helping less fortunate young and elderly people enjoy
Christmas.
Gift boxes containing toiletries, food and entertainment items
were being distributed by the national health insurer to a number
of charities under the Birmingham in the Community programme.
This year the recipients were Looked After Children Services,
who received toy boxes and teenage packs, and Age Concern Perry
Barr, who received food hampers.
The BHSF boxes were organised and filled by Laura Freeman,
Melanie Tavener and Sunita Mistry.
Peter Maskell, BHSF's chief executive, said: "I'm extremely
grateful for the care and commitment shown by staff in putting
these boxes together. It is important to demonstrate through our
Corporate Social Responsibility programme that we are thinking of
people less fortunate than ourselves at this time of the year."
