highstyle
Mercedes-Benz of Leicester has expanded its business to offer
local car buyers a taste of one of the most unique and
environmentally-compatible vehicles available.
The St Georges Way retailer has now welcomed the smart brand to
its spacious showroom, where buyers can experience the iconic,
two-seater range that includes the world's most efficient
combustion-engined production car - the smart cdi.
The development means that Mercedes-Benz of Leicester has a
smart car on display in its showroom and has demonstrator models
on-site for customers to test drive.
As an added bonus for local smart
enthusiasts, Mercedes-Benz of Leicester's display smart is one
of the rarest models available - the limited edition highstyle.
Finished in contemporary chocolate brown metallic with a
sumptuous, well-equipped interior, the edition highstyle is limited
to a production run of only 215 - making it unique in every sense.
Of the cars to be available in the UK, 140 will be powered by the
71bhp (mhd) engine and the remaining 75 will come complete with the
turbocharged 84bhp unit.
Sales Executive Jaimie Laws has been trained by the manufacturer
to assist customers with enquiries and any technical questions that
they may have. Having been in the industry for seven years and a
Sales Executive at
Mercedes-Benz of Leicester for three of those, Jaimie can advise
customers on every aspect of the increasingly popular smart.
"Although we are not a full-size smart operation, our official
smart status means we are able to provide test drives and process
sales," said Jaimie. "By having the brand on-site, we can offer
both increased choice and value to customers."
Jaimie added: "With emissions of just 89g/km of CO2 and economy
of 83.1 miles per gallon (combined), the new smart diesel is
destined to appeal to drivers looking to reduce their motoring
costs.
"Some fantastically affordable finance packages and the
opportunity to acquire a smart via the Government's scrappage
scheme, not to mention beat the imminent VAT increase, mean that
the car is even more of an attractive proposition at present."
