Businesses in the East Midlands now have a unique opportunity to
deliver daily to Lithuania and Latvia, following the launch of two
new freight services.
RH Freight, which has its head office in Nottingham and a branch
on Meridian Business Park in Leicester, has replaced its previous
weekly service with the two new daily routes as a result of
gradually increasing consignment numbers to these areas.
Ian Baxter, RH's Managing Director said: "We have seen steady
consignment growth to Eastern Europe in recent years and regard the
new services as filling a gap in this market. Freight forwarding to
Lithuania and Latvia has traditionally been small scale so
providing a daily service is a real leap forward.
"The daily services, which will be routed via Poland, allow us
to offer yet another market-leading service in terms of transit
times. Businesses will not find anything better than what we are
now providing."
This is the latest in a series of new daily services to be
announced by RH Freight.
RH Freight handles 400,000 shipments per year. It delivers daily
to 26 partner depots, twice weekly to seven partner depots and once
weekly to two partner depots across Europe.
