at Lincoln City Football Club.
The Nomad Trust works towards helping homeless people regain
their independence and self-respect while HOPE supports heart
failure sufferers and their carers.
The two charity cheques brought the total donated by the Lincoln
Business Club in 2009 to £1,200.
In July Strut in the Community and the Lincolnshire &
Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance each received a cheque for
£300.
Lincoln Business Club is a voluntary organisation which provides
networking opportunities for the city's business community and
currently has 500 members.
It is a not-for-profit organisation which donates the majority
of members' entrance fees and sponsorship fees to good causes.
Club Chairman Eddie Strengiel said: "We feel that it's important
that we, as a club and as business people, are able to give our
support to local charities.
"We're delighted to be able to lend our support in this way and we
aim to continue to do so in the future."
Lincoln Business Club meets at Lincoln City Football Club on the
last Friday of every month at 7am.
The next meeting takes place at 7am on Friday 29th January
2010.
