Northampton based company Quick Formations Ltd has successfully
entered the Chinese export market thanks to the help and support of
UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).
A multi award winning company, Quick Formations Ltd provides
online company formation services to new businesses around the
UK.
Quick Formations Ltd now known as QFL delivers a varied and
bespoke support service for entrepreneurs, partners and directors
who are looking for a quick and effective hassle free way to start
their business.
QFL has established its self as a Limited company formation
agent in China, securing key business contacts in the engineering
and mechanical manufacturing capital Chongqing, after receiving
expert help and advice from the East Midlands China Business Bureau
and UK Trade & Investment.
In October they joined a market visit organised and led by the
bureau to Chongqing and Chengdu.
QFL commissioned a service (Overseas Market Introduction
Service) from UKTI that puts businesses directly in touch with UKTI
staff in overseas office.
The service provides research and contacts in your chosen market
and offers focused business advice and support with events.
Company Director, Richard Osborne said: "I would never have
considered operating in China, but the level of support I received
from UKTI and the bureau gave me the confidence to just do it."
"It is an invaluable service, the amount of contacts they
introduced me to could have taken me years to gather myself.
"They showed me the right route to market, meaning I did not
have to spend hours stumbling around the internet on my own.
"Working with UKTI has really given me a boost and encouraged me
to develop my business in the Far East, if anyone wants to look at
starting a business in China, they can definitely give me a
call!"
Chris Foster, International Trade Advisor at UKTI East Midlands
said: "Richard totally embraced the Chinese culture and understood
that business is conducted differently over there.
"He is not afraid of change and adapted his practices to
accommodate the local culture, even doing home work to understand
common business etiquette and learn how to meet and greet
colleagues in Chinese!"
