A North Staffordshire printer has taken delivery of an unusual
order - thousands of choral CDs.
Nuprint is printing CD covers as part of a successful
partnership with a Staffordshire school.
The Parkhouse Industrial Estate based company is working with
the Lichfield Cathedral School to completely revamp its marketing
material.
And a CD of choral music by the school's Girls' Choir is being
released in time for Christmas.
Nuprint Director Leigh Wilbraham said: "It is the first time we
have branched out into the music business.
"The Lichfield Cathedral School Girls' Choir is fabulous and
while we are not expecting a Christmas number one we are proud to
be part of an enterprise which will give much enjoyment over the
festive period and beyond."
Around 12,000 CDs are being distributed with the December
edition of the Staffordshire Life magazine. Copies are also
available from the school.
Nuprint has forged major links with the independent school
sector in recent months.
Mr Wilbraham said: "Independent schools need to market
themselves perhaps now more than ever in these difficult economic
times.
"We are working with schools across the county to provide them
with quality marketing material as part of material aimed at
promoting them to potential parents."
