Everyone is celebrating at leading Shropshire law firm Lanyon
Bowdler after learning that Neil Lorimer, partner and head of the
Personal Injury team, successfully won the Eclipse Proclaim
Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year (Claimant) Award.
The event, organised by Barker Brooks Media, took place at The
London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. The evening was hosted by
comedian and 8 out of 10 Cats Star Sean Lock. Neil and his guests
joined over 350 professionals from the industry at the black tie
dinner, speaking after receiving his award Neil said "I am a little
lost for words but obviously I'm delighted to have won, my thanks
go to all those who have supported and helped me get to this point
in my career - it really does feel like a once in a lifetime
experience."
These Personal Injury Awards provide a unique opportunity to
highlight and celebrate the excellence of individuals and
organisations across the personal injury claims sector. The
objectives of the Awards are to identify high standards of practice
and to inspire others to emulate the achievements demonstrated by
those who have been short listed. In order to have been short
listed it was necessary to demonstrate outstanding client care,
including sensitivity to diverse needs and backgrounds, good
communication with other parties and excellent organisational
skills, particularly in more complex cases.
A highly regarded panel of judges decided the winning lawyer
from 3 short listed nominations, their comments about Neil included
"known for his excellent command of the law and a meticulous,
thoughtful approach, he has an intimidating reputation as an astute
tactician. He is respected by his colleagues and highly regarded by
his clients. He is known for his professional competence as well as
being a down to earth, likeable person."
