Law firm Weightmans has welcomed associate Peter Brewer to its
Commercial Dispute Resolution and Insolvency team. He joins from
Else Solicitors LLP and will divide his time equally between the
firm's Birmingham and Leicester offices.
Peter qualified as a solicitor in 2001, and has since
specialised in offering commercial litigation and insolvency advice
to commercial clients and insolvency practitioners in the
Midlands.
Weightmans launched its Commercial Dispute Resolution and
Insolvency team in the Midlands with the appointment of Verona
Cocks in 2006. She was promoted to partner in 2008 and says
"Peter's appointment is a great addition to the team not only
because of his expertise but also his practice development skills
which will assist the continued growth of our client base."

On his decision to join the firm, Peter added: "Weightmans is a
