Four young lawyers from Fraser Brown solicitors have been
elected onto the committee of the Nottingham Junior Lawyers
Division (NJLD).
The legal group, which was formed last year and represents more
than 100 young lawyers from across the county, will see Will
Cursham take over as Chair, after a successful year as Events
Secretary.
Jamie Hemingray and Ewan Carr will fill Will's vacant position
and Jas Digva will act as Membership Secretary during 2010. All
four were voted onto the committee by their counterparts from
throughout Nottinghamshire.
Will said, "The JLD has been extremely successful this year and
very well supported. We offer various services to young lawyers
across Nottinghamshire and in the forthcoming year I'm keen to make
sure that these are well publicised and continue to be taken up by
as many members as possible."
The Junior Lawyers Division provides support, advice,
information and networking opportunities to junior lawyers. Student
members of the Law Society enrolled through the Solicitors
Regulation Authority, trainee solicitors, or solicitors with up to
five years active practice are all automatically represented.
