Gainsborough solicitors, Burton & Dyson, have welcomed Sharon Lockwood as the new head of their Family Department.

Before joining the company Sharon trained with a large commercial firm and later worked for an established Hampshire practice.

She specialises in all aspects of family law, but has particular expertise in divorce and resolving financial issues for both married and unmarried couples on separation. She is a member of Resolution, and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in the areas of advanced financial provision and private children matters. Sharon is also a trustee of Relate Lincolnshire.

She will be responsible for business development within Burton & Dyson's Family Department and will become involved in local charity and business groups.

Philip Westcott, Burton & Dyson's Senior Partner, said: "We are very pleased to welcome a lawyer of Sharon's calibre to our firm. Her skills and experience will enhance our family law department and allow us to further improve our services to clients."
