Midlands marketing communications agency, Gough Allen Stanley,
has struck Gold at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations
(CIPR) PRide Awards 2009.
The agency received Gold in the Public Affairs category at
Friday night's awards ceremony at the ICC in Birmingham for its PR
work on behalf of a major client.
Whilst enjoying close working relationships with regional and
national journalists, the agency's PR team also specialises in
community affairs, communicating directly with members of the
public on a day-to-day basis and liaising with local
authorities.
Gough Allen Stanley, which is based in Bromsgrove,
Worcestershire, is the longest-running independent consultancy in
the West-Midlands. The full-service agency provides a range of
integrated communications for a broad spectrum of clients and the
latest Gold award is another in a long line of honours and
recognition.
Sarah Burton, Chair of CIPR Midlands, said: "A CIPR PRide Award
is a hallmark of professionalism and success - it identifies,
recognises and rewards the outstanding achievements of those
working in the PR industry outside of London."
Sue Bailey, Managing Director of Gough Allen Stanley, collected
the award on behalf of the company and commented: "We are
absolutely delighted to have won the Gold Award in the Public
Affairs category. This is a reflection of the dedication,
professionalism and expertise of the team. Our ethos is always to
exceed expectations and deliver - an approach that has been justly
rewarded with this honour."
