Exciting expansion plans at Fisher German Chartered Surveyors, welcome Stuart Flint to his new post as Head of Residential Agency. Previously with Knight Frank for 19 years, Stuart joins the firm as Partner and is tasked with delivering significant growth to the agency division.

Fisher German presently has 10 offices with a diversified practice handling high profile business in areas such as estate management, pipelines, renewable energy, and a variety of professional work together with a longstanding agency business which is set for ambitious expansion being implemented from January 2010.

Discussing his new appointment, Stuart Flint comments "It may be seen as a challenging time to embark on a major expansion but the market is showing clear signs of recovery. I believe Fisher German is brilliantly placed to increase their agency market share, with excellent people and a strong track record based on professionalism and trust. Fisher German has a superb 'brand' with great potential and this is what enticed me to them."

Whilst Stuart is in no doubt that there remains challenging times ahead, he is convinced that 2010 will be very different to the past two years. "The residential property market has been through turmoil and in many places difficult trading conditions persist but the outlook for next year is quite different in my opinion. Provided interest rates stay at modest levels in a low inflationary environment I think we will see a significant increase in transactional volumes as people seek to 'get on' with their lives".

Fisher German is already experiencing a notable increase in prospective vendors seeking advice for sales next year, a 23% rise on the same period in 2008. "This is great news for us" comments Stuart "and just what potential sellers should be doing to understand current values and get a head start for their marketing campaign."

The principal Fisher German agency offices are located in Banbury, Thame, Ashby de la Zouch, Market Harborough, Stafford, Worcester, Newark & Knutsford providing exceptional regional coverage for clients. The agency teams specialise in the sale of village and rural property, from cottages to castles and pony paddocks to extensive commercial farms. The agency expansion includes plans for further key personnel recruitment and a 'refreshing' of the brand with innovative new marketing material for clients to benefit from.

Joint Managing Partner, Henry Sale sees the new appointment as the first step in the metamorphosis of the agency arm of Fisher German. "Stuart has an exceptional reputation in the marketplace and is a strategic thinker who is perfect to drive our business forward at this exciting time."
