Dr. Stephen Duckworth, OBE, director of Serco, a service company
which has been delivering essential public services for more than
40 years and who is a Board Member of the Olympic Delivery
Authority will be speaking at a workshop on December 3 which will
guide West Midlands companies on how to win business from the 2012
Olympics.
Hosted by Business Link West Midlands and funded by Advantage
West Midlands the workshop is being organised by Birmingham and
Solihull Chamber of Commerce and is aimed at raising awareness of
the opportunities presented by the London 2012 Games.
The 2012 Procurement Training workshops have been developed to
provide companies with in-depth training on the detailed purchasing
processes used by the London 2012 Games and other public sector
organisations.
