The University of Northampton is hosting a special event on free
funding and support available to transport companies and associated
supply chain businesses in Northamptonshire.
'Funding4Transport' takes place on Monday 14 December, from
6-8pm at the University's Sunley Management Centre, Park
Campus.
Following a buffet, representatives of The University of
Northampton and the Transport Innovation Network will meet with
attendees and highlight two specific schemes offering cash to
companies in the sector.
John Jones, Head of Business and Commercial Services (Knowledge
Exchange) at The University of Northampton, said: "It's not often
companies get something for nothing, but in this case it's
true.
"Money is available to transport companies and their partners
right now. All eligible businesses need to do is work with The
University of Northampton on a strategic project and they could
receive between £1,000 to £10,000 of Transport
Innovation Network money."
Led by The University of Northampton's Knowledge Exchange, this
initiative is being supported by the Transport Innovation Network,
which aims to support the success of transport-oriented businesses
within the region.
