Black Country Chamber of Commerce hosted a fantastic FREE "Women
in Business" event on 11th November at the West Bromwich Albion
football ground, offering practical and motivational support to
women in business.
The event sponsored by FinditinSandwell, Forresters, Ice Blue
Marketing and Design, and Sammy Rose Management Services was a huge
success with 33 exhibitors from across the Black Country showcasing
their business to over 130 delegates.
The event was not only a fantastic networking opportunity, but a
chance to learn from the event sponsors in a range of seminars
throughout the day, including: "Marketing, presenting, Selling your
business" by Sammy Rose Management Services; "Be Proactive in your
Business" by Forresters; "Marketing your website online - the
essentials" by Ice Blue Marketing Design and "How FinditinSandwell
can help your business" by FinditinSandwell.
Maureen Hussey from Sandwell PCT commented, "The event went very
well and my colleagues were thrilled, they had never been to
anything like it and couldn't believe the networking opportunities
and how friendly everyone was; job well done!"
Margaret Corneby, Chief Executive (Designate), Black Country
Chamber of Commerce said "This was a great opportunity to showcase
our member companies and promote the great businesses we have here
in the Black Country. We hope to host many more exhibition style
events in the future that will profile our members and help them to
gain new business".
