PERFECT Furniture, part of the PF Collections Group, has taken
the final unit in the award-winning Axis development in
Nottingham.
Acting on behalf of Henry Boot Developments, Alan Pearson of heb
secured the final letting after the unit became available following
the surrender of the lease to Christopher Wray Lighting, which heb
let part of to Philpotts in late 2008.
The letting to Perfect Furniture, part of the PF Collections
Group, based in Long Eaton adds yet another quality operator to
this exciting mixed use development of the former Co-op Department
Store on Upper Parliament Street.
Alan said: "I am delighted to have secured a retailer of such
quality for the development. This is the manufacturer's flagship
store. They were attracted to this location, given its proximity to
Nottingham's professional quarter and its excellent main road
prominence. PF have taken a new 10 year lease, subject to five
yearly rent reviews at a commencing rent of £45,000 pa".
James Greenway of Henry Boot said: "PF is an established
operator with over 21 years in business and we are delighted to
have such a quality retail offer for this prominent corner unit,
which is arguably the best in the scheme."
John Campbell of Perfect Furniture said: "We have been seeking a
suitable site for some time and had considered a number of very
good opportunities before discovering that the site was
available.
"Negotiations with Henry Boot via Alan Pearson of heb were swift
and decisive with both parties working closely together to ensure
that a high quality retail environment was achieved. The result is
a stunning store which takes full advantage of the magnificent
corner windows. By offering high quality locally made sofas and
chairs in such a modern environment, Perfect Furniture is sure that
its investment will soon be rewarded."
heb Chartered Surveyors acted in the acquisition and all the
lettings in relation to the retail and leisure element of this
300,000 sq ft development, which has been voted 'Best Mixed Use
Scheme' by Property Week magazine and also 'Best Commercial
Development' at The Evening Post Property Awards.
