Leading international rail constancy Interfleet Technology has
welcomed the former head of its Maintenance Services team back to
the business.
Rebeka Sellick rejoins Interfleet following her role as
Engineering Director at the Association of Train Operating
Companies (ATOC).
In her new post as Principal Consultant, Rebeka will draw on her
20 years of experience in the industry to further enhance the asset
management and maintenance capability within Interfleet.
Jonathan Wragg, UK Regional Director at Interfleet, commented:
"Rebeka can clearly demonstrate attributes that will assist the
company as it continues to add value to its clients across the rail
industry.
"Rebeka's skill in being able to identify issues and devise
solutions will be of great benefit, as will her proven track record
in delivering successful projects, both at strategic and practical
levels."
While at ATOC, Rebeka represented train companies to government,
regulatory bodies and the media on transport policy and engineering
issues. She also initiated, co-ordinated and delivered joint
engineering activities for train operators: facilitating common
train operator positions and driving collective improvements.
Acting in the cross-industry National Fleet Reliability
Improvement Programme leadership role, Rebeka also identified and
facilitated the sharing of train engineering reliability best
practice for the UK (representing the train operators).
Rebeka commented: "I am delighted to be returning to Interfleet,
a company with the right mix of bright people who really know about
the rail industry and can make a difference."
When she was previously at Interfleet, Rebeka was a Principal
Engineer, responsible for creating and growing the team and
products that became Maintenance Services. Rebeka also developed
Interfleet's business strategy for Asia whilst also delivering
pioneering assignments in Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong and central
China.
