Tim Clarke, most recently a senior Director for Commercial
Banking with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group in the region, has
joined Fraser Brown Solicitors.
Mr Clarke, has more than 35 years experience in the commercial
sector both in the UK and overseas. During his time at RBS Tim was
at the forefront of the largest Retail banking transformation
programme in Europe and also has extensive experience as a trainer
in corporate relationship management programmes. He joins Fraser
Brown as a Business Consultant with a specific brief to support
business development across the firm with emphasis on the corporate
finance team.
"I wanted to be involved with a business where I could bring
real value to the role - Fraser Brown has given me just that
opportunity. The firm has an excellent and growing reputation and
is in the process of putting in place a progressive strategy for
growth. In Nottingham particularly, the business community is
driven by reputation and as The East Midlands emerges from
recession it will be this strength, coupled with a fantastic client
base, that will take Fraser Brown to a higher level of
operation.
"The people here are a great fit - they understand what they are
trying to achieve and are prepared to invest in new approaches and
new people to reach that end. I think that my biggest initial
challenge will be adapting to the different operating culture of a
law firm - it's going to be a steep learning curve."
Peter Thornley is Managing Partner at Fraser Brown: "We are
delighted to welcome Tim on board. His proven business skills and
ability to drive success will further energise and motivate all our
teams.
"He has already met with the partners and senior management team
to agree the pace that we intend to set the business in the coming
months and what are our priorities to deliver. It continues to be a
hugely exciting and fruitful year for the business."
