A seminar taking place at the East Midlands Property and
Business Investment Show on 10 November will give business people
the opportunity to find out more about how they could grow their
business through franchising.
Nottingham-based Solicitors Fraser Brown is hosting the
afternoon seminar in conjunction with Ken Braddock, Northern Region
Franchise Manager at HSBC and Emma Hanson, Associate Director at
Tenon Outsourcing. The hour-long event will evaluate
franchising in greater depth and explain how it could benefit those
looking to expand.
Experts from Tenon, HSBC, Business Link and Fraser Brown will be
on hand to answer questions and provide an independent appraisal on
some of the issues that may arise when considering franchising.
Robin Wright, Partner at Fraser Brown, explained the reasons
behind the event. "Despite the economic uncertainty, many banks are
still willing to lend on franchising activity, making it an
attractive option for those looking to raise capital or build their
business.
"This seminar will allow people who may not have considered
franchising before to find out about the funding on offer to
prospective franchisors, the accounting procedures and controls and
the legal frameworks that are required."
Following the seminar there will also be an informal workshop
allowing prospective franchisees to meet with the experts and
benefit from their advice and knowledge. Robin added, "While
franchising is becoming an increasingly popular option for those
who have been made redundant or are looking for a change, it's not
for everyone and it is vital that anyone considering taking on a
franchise business understands what is involved from the
start."
The seminar will take place from 2-3pm on 10 November at the
East Midlands Property and Business Investment Show at EMCC. Spaces
are limited and should be reserved in advance. Contact Heather
Mitchell on 0115 9888 777 or email hmitchell@fraserbrown.com to
guarantee your place. Experts will be available to advise
prospective franchisees from 3-3.30pm. No appointments are
required.
