The site, which has outline planning permission, is situated
half a mile from junction 28 of the M1 and is accessed off the A38,
opposite the entrance to the McArthur Glen Designer
Outlet.
Also under the hammer are a number of warehouse units in
Nottinghamshire. There two retail units for sale - one in Radford
Road, Hyson Green with a guide price of between £150,000 and
£160,000, and the other in Derby Road, Nottingham with a
guide price of £125,00 to £150,000.
Matt Hilton, partner at heb, said: "This time we have a really
wide range of property at our auction. We are expecting swift
bidding on the day from a number of developers who are looking to
buy potential plots for residential sales.
Heb's October auction will be its fourth this year. The
company's first three auctions generated more than £5 million
in sales and included commercial and residential sales. Heb's third
auction was the one-off sale of The Jester public house in
Sneinton, Nottingham.
Other lots include Finn M'Couls, the Irish themed bar in
Ilkeston; a shop in Nottingham Road, Eastwood and around seven
acres of land on the edge of Castle Donington with a guide price of
£60,000 to £100,000. Heb will also be selling land at
Critchley Street, Ilkeston which has full planning for 11
two-bedroom apartments over three storeys - and a pub in Wollaton
Road, Wollaton, which has a guide price of £200,000 to
£250,000.
"We are very pleased with the results of our auctions so far,"
says Matt, who is an award-winning auctioneer. "Our first
auction was in March and since then we have had good auctions
which have attracted diverse buyers. We knew that this was the
right move in the current climate, and we were right.
"heb saw the importance to build on the excellent profile heb
has and we believe that the economic climate is right for expansion
in auctions."
The next heb auction will be held on 20 October 2009 at 2.30pm
at the Belfry Hotel, Nottingham Business Park, close to junction 26
of the M1.
