East Midlands Development Agency (emda) is due to hold its 10th
Annual Public Meeting next week.
The event will take place on Friday 16th October, at Pera in
Melton Mowbray. The aim of the event is to provide people in the
region with an opportunity to see what emda has achieved over the
last year, and what it hopes to achieve in the longer term, as it
continues to deliver the vision for a flourishing region.
At the event, which runs between 8.30am and 10.30am, Chairman,
Bryan Jackson and Chief Executive, Jeff Moore, will discuss the
work that emda and its partners have been doing to support the
development of the region over the last 12 months.
In the past year, emda has implemented a series of programmes
and initiatives designed to help businesses during the recession,
and to boost innovation and skills, giving businesses of all sizes
the support they need to start up, develop and grow.
The meeting is open to all people, whether from businesses, the
voluntary sector, education, a community group or an interested
member of the public.
Places at the event are limited, so to book a place and to see
