Following Trinity Mirror's recent announcement that the
Birmingham Post is to go weekly and the Birmingham Mail move to
overnight production, Birmingham businesses will have one of the
first opportunities to question Managing Director of BPM Media,
John Griffith at a breakfast briefing on November 6.
Birmingham and Solihull Chamber of Commerce and Industry in
conjunction with Birmingham Forward, is to host Breakfast
Connections at the Crowne Plaza where John Griffith will be
speaking about the major changes that have rocked the business
world in the region.
In three weeks' time, the last daily edition of the printed
version of the Birmingham Post will roll off the presses in
Erdington, marking the end of a publishing tradition that stretches
back more than 150 years. The new Post will become a
multimedia brand and a weekly title published every Thursday.
The Birmingham Mail will move to overnight production early in
the New Year.
Crowne Plaza and audio visual company Quadrant are sponsors at
the event which is held every quarter. Open to members of
Birmingham Chamber and Birmingham Forward, places cost £22
plus VAT. Pre booking is essential, see
