Lodders Solicitors have helped entrepreneur Cas Carrington
unveil a new concept for Stratford-upon-Avon - a unique micro-bar
that combines hot and spicy noodles with the latest in vodka-based
drinks and cocktails.
Bamboodle is the latest venture from the lady who has pioneered
after dark entertainment in Stratford - she also owns the
neighbouring Caz Bar, a Moroccan themed bar, club and
restaurant.
She said that she and her partner Luke Warwood spotted the
opportunity when the gift shop that previously occupied the Guild
Street premises closed down.
Now, after a £70,000 refit and a new shop front that has
opened up the bar to natural light, Bamboodle is providing the town
with a new attraction to enhance its offering to locals and
tourists alike.
Lodders partner Steven Baker advised on the lease with agents
Peter Clarke & Co representing the landlords.
Cas Carrington said: "The bar area is not big so clearly we
needed to come up with a concept that would attract a niche crowd
looking for something different from the usual bars and
restaurants. Stratford is well served for pubs and restaurants so
we felt we needed to be different.
"It was Luke who came up with the idea of a New York-style vodka
bar that also served a contemporary noodle-based menu calling on a
range of Asian influences.
"We thought it was an original idea that would appeal to
Stratford and we came up with the name Bamboodle.
"We chose Lodders to advise on the lease as they are Stratford
solicitors and on top of any local commercial property issues."
Steven Baker of Lodders said: "This is an original and very
clever use of what is a small space in retail terms.
"If Cas and her team were to compete with the local night life,
clearly they had to come up with a unique offering that brings
something new and fresh into the town."
