Law firm Weightmans has once again risen through the ranks to
secure its highest ever ranking in the 2009 Legal 500 guide.
The directory refers to the firm as "renowned for its insurance
expertise" whilst Weightmans has also secured a number of new and
improved rankings across its practice areas.

The firm has retained its top ranking in Personal Injury and
Clinical Negligence (East Midlands), Clinical Negligence
(Liverpool), Personal Injury (Liverpool), Professional Negligence
(Manchester and Liverpool), Health (Liverpool), Local Government
(Liverpool), Transport, Commercial Firms (76-100) and Clinical
Negligence (Birmingham).
Weightmans has also retained its impressive rankings in Clinical
Negligence (London), Corporate and Commercial (Liverpool), Dispute
Resolution (Liverpool), Debt Recovery (Liverpool), Employment
(Liverpool), Clinical Negligence (Birmingham), Personal Injury
(Birmingham) and Health (Birmingham).
New rankings for the firm include Public Sector (East Midlands),
Education (Manchester), Commercial Property (Manchester), Social
Housing (Liverpool) and Health and Safety (Birmingham).
Weightmans' Insurance and Reinsurance practice was also singled
out for praise.
It has been an impressive year for Weightmans with the firm also
being voted the third best national firm to work for in Legal
Week's Employee Satisfaction Survey - earning a Best Legal Employer
accreditation in the process.
