Five women from across Warwickshire will come together on the
10th September for The Remote Worker Awards Ceremony, held at the
stunning Cliveden House in Berkshire, to find out their fates in a
life changing national awards.
The Remote Worker Awards appealed to hundreds of eager entrants
around the UK from home workers and remote workers, freelance
consultants to budding home business enterprisers as well as large
companies who employ a flexible workforce across the country, and
career shifters.
Yet with the multitude of incredible stories of people who
champion remote and home working, Warwickshire pulled five
exceptional candidates out of the county's cap. The Midlands has
proved to have the most talented remote workers and home businesses
as Warwickshire has come up trumps with the most finalists out of
all the UK counties!
The flurry of entries showed their interest and enthusiasm for
the eight award categories and all are very keen to win the
fantastic range of prizes on offer.
The five women are Susan Port from Leamington Spa who is a
finalist in The BT Home Business Award for her home based business,
Baby No Bumps. Amanda Farren, from Coventry, is competing against
Susan to win the BT Home Business title.
Jane Hopkins hails from Coleshill, North Warwickshire, and is a
finalist in The Open University Skills Awards and hopes to win a
£2000 study prize.
Sarah Acklam from Warwick is a finalist in the Netmums Work from
Home Award and hopes to win a business start up, and Catherine
Prout, also from Warwick is in the running to win her own home
based franchise in The Helen O'Grady Special Award.
All five women now have to wait patiently until the 10th
September when The Remote Worker Awards Ceremony will be held at
the stunning Cliveden House in Berkshire, where each of them will
find out if they have won their Award.
Award winning website, Remote Employment, Google's No 1 job site
for flexible and home based jobs, launched The Remote Worker Awards
in association with BT Business to highlight how home working and
remote working benefits the British public and their working
