celebrating being shortlisted for three 'Heart of England'
Excellence in Tourism' awards.

in the West Midlands and showcases the diverse and
fantastic range of attractions, accommodation and tourism
venues that the region has to offer.
The conference centre is a leading training venue for the
Midlands and has been shortlisted as a finalist in the
'Outstanding Customer Care Award', 'Sustainable Tourism Award'
and 'Business Tourism - Best
Conference Venue' categories.
"We heard about the Sustainability Award first and it was a huge
thrill to be shortlisted as we have worked so hard to
minimise our impact on the environment." explained Assistant
Manager, Chris Catford. "Then, a few weeks later we heard
about being finalists in the Business Tourism Award
-Best Conference Venue category so we are very excited about
the black tie awards ceremony coming up next month.
To be shortlisted personally for the Customer Care Award
is a fantastic honour".
A Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony will be held at the
International Convention Centre, Broad Street Birmingham on
the evening of Thursday October 29th. Cotswold Conference
Centre is the only Conference Centre of Excellence in the
Cotswolds and the first Worcestershire based business to become
a member of the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
