Mercedes-Benz World is the destination for local smart
owners next weekend for the annual smart festival
Smart of Nottingham and its customers will have another good
reason to get into the party spirit next weekend.
The NG2 Business Park retailer has enjoyed considerable sales
success this year among motorists, who have turned to the iconic
brand in order to reduce their motoring costs. In particular there
has been huge demand for the smart fortwo cdi - the world's lowest
CO2 emitting series production car with a combustion engine - that
returns 85.6 miles per gallon (combined) and is exempt from a road
fund licence.
There will be more celebrations at smart of Nottingham on
Saturday 12th September when local owners are invited to
participate in the annual smart festival at Mercedes-Benz World in
Surrey.
The day will commence with breakfast at the retail outlet, where
drivers will be able to meet fellow smart enthusiasts and view the
latest models.
Customers will then travel to the smart festival in convoy,
which will include a rendezvous with owners from smart of
Nottingham's sister sites in Coventry, Derby, Oxford and
Liverpool.
"Seeing the M25 awash with smart cars heading to the event makes
quite a sight and it should be even more spectacular this year as
the festival is expected to be the biggest and best yet," said Matt
Barker, smart of Nottingham's Product Specialist.
"There will be competitions for the 'Most Modified', 'Best Kept'
and 'Best Dressed' cars, games involving smart driving and live
music from upcoming pop star Steve Appleton, who has been the face
and voice of smart's advertising campaign on the continent this
year."
Local smart owners interested in joining smart of Nottingham for
the day, should contact the retailer on 0115 988 2920 for full
details and to register their participation.
