Sentinel Manufacturing Limited are reaping the benefits of
training, as eight staff have recently completed their management
courses with County Training!
Sentinel Manufacturing Limited, based in Shrewsbury, started
working with County Training in September 2008, wishing to develop
and enhance their exisiting management skills. County Training,
part of Shropshire Council, stepped in with an array of choice in
qualifications and now the staff are celebrating receiving their
certificates.
The company have a long standing relationship with County
Training, and as a result of attending one of their 'Success
through Skills' events, aimed at employers, in April 2008, they
became aware of the management qualifications available.
Sentinel Manufacturing Limited are manufacturers and suppliers
worldwide for engineered parts for heavy duty industrial
applications in aluminium and ferrous metals and are also precision
engineers for the automotive and power generation
industries.
The group achieved their qualifications in a number of areas,
including; problem solving, team leading, delegation,
communication, motivation, presenting information, time management,
managing change, managing budgets, project management and
recruitment.
County Training, who are the largest training provider in
Shropshire, offer a range of half day management and
leadership courses, which can be delivered at the employers
premises or at one of their training centres throughout the county,
which includes Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Telford, Whitchurch And
Ludlow.

range of courses that have been offered to us. There has been
noteable improvements in our business delivery and the way in which
we operate, as a result of our training. Staff morale and
motivations levels have also risen."
