Internationally-operating Octavian Security has been named as
the new away kit sponsor for its hometown club, the
headline-hitting Notts County.
The Nottingham-based business has signed a season-long deal that
will see its name emblazoned across the shirts of players like
newly-signed Sol Campbell.
The shirt went on sale on Friday (Sept 11) at Meadow Lane, with
Octavian Security founder and CEO, Sukhi Ghuman, joined by Octavian
chief operating officer Avi Pawar and players Sol Campbell and
Graeme Lee.
Sukhi commented: "We are delighted to be part of a club on our
doorstep that the world is talking about and one that has ambitions
of hitting the Premier League in the near future."
The Meadow Lane club was taken over by Munto Finance in the
summer, with former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson quickly
appointed as Director of Football.
And the club has also announced that Octavian Security will be
providing 24-hour security at Meadow Lane, a role that also
includes stewarding for home matches and the cleaning contract.
Peter Trembling, executive chairman at Notts County, commented:
"These are extremely exciting times for the club and we are
delighted to have Octavian Security on board both as an away kit
sponsor and as our security provider.
"It is great that Octavian, a company that shares our concepts
of a success-driven strategy, is a local business supporting a
local club and we look forward to working together as the season
progresses."
Octavian will now also provide specialist security services on
home matchdays, whilst also completing industrial cleaning duties
following the matches.
