Nottingham-based Fraser Brown Solicitors has added weight to its
Senior Management team with the appointment of Graham Green to the
position of Senior Partner.
The move into the figurehead role reflects his seniority within
the firm, which he joined as Partner in 1994. Along with Managing
Partner Peter Thornley, Graham will now take joint responsibility
for moving the business forward, developing new ideas and
maintaining its reputation for innovative thinking.
He will also work closely with other Partners and more junior
members of the team in a mentoring capacity, offering advice and
guidance.
Graham said, "The attitude within Fraser Brown is very much to
develop not only the business but also individuals within the
business and this can be seen across the firm, from my position to
the time and energy we invest in our trainees and newly qualified
solicitors.
"This means that the firm as a whole has the vision and the
drive to succeed, which at the moment is not only very important
but also incredibly motivating. We are viewing the current time as
a real opportunity - to branch out into other areas of expertise,
grow certain departments and keep our name uppermost in people's
minds and I'm excited about being a key part of this."
Peter Thornley, Managing Partner, added, "Graham is well known
and highly respected in the Nottingham business community. We have
no doubt that he will embrace all aspects of his new role as Senior
Partner, ensuring that Fraser Brown retains its good reputation and
continues to offer its clients the level of service they have come
to expect."
With more than 30 years experience in law, Graham has
specialised in Commercial Property for much of this time and works
with clients across the East Midlands assisting with the purchase
and disposal of freehold and leasehold land and premises.
He joined Fraser Brown in 1994 after Whittingham, Bradwell &
Mack, at which he was a Partner in the Commercial Property
department, merged with the firm. Prior to that, he had spent his
two year training contract as an Articled Clerk at Fraser Brown,
from 1976-78.
