New hire marks development drive at Wilsons

Nazir Ismail joins The Wilson Organisation as Business Development Executive

Nottingham-based The Wilson Organisation has appointed Nazir Ismail to the newly created position of Business Development Executive.

Working alongside Wilsons' Business Development Director Andrew Davies, Nazir will provide support to the firm-wide business development strategy to maximise regional and national market share, by building on Wilsons' reputation and well-regarded client support services.

Nazir brings 16 years experience within the financial services sector to Wilsons, an independent insurance broker and financial adviser, in which time he has worked as corporate account manager and adviser at some of the UK's biggest insurance providers including Standard Life, Norwich Union and Axa.

Alongside, Nazir has founded and run businesses with his family, including a well established and popular children's play centre in Leicestershire, which his family recently sold.

"Wilsons has an excellent reputation for providing bespoke insurance and financial planning to businesses and this new role presents me with a unique opportunity to be involved in developing Wilson's business specialism, delivering high quality professional advice," says Nazir.

"The business development role at Wilsons is one of those rare opportunities - I can combine my personal appreciation and knowledge of running a family business with my experience, knowledge and skills gained in the financial services sector."

Based in Wilsons' Nottingham head office, the role involves Nazir working with businesses based both regionally in the East Midlands as well as nationally. Initially, he will focus support on Wilsons' development drive with businesses based in Leicestershire, particularly family-owned and operated companies.

The Wilson Organisation, based in Nottingham, provides professional independent insurance, financial, risk management and corporate finance solutions to businesses and individuals both regionally and nationally.
