If you prefer sweet to savoury, you will be spoilt for choice amongst the exhibitors selling traditional liquorice, candy sticks, toffee, fudge and frozen yoghurts.  And to add the finishing touch, you can splash out on a Celtic liqueur, Gaelic whisky, or a select Californian wine.

If you want to try your hand at something different, renowned Game Chef Mark Gilchrist will be on hand to offer advice and tips on how to source and prepare fresh game. You will also be able to try his legendary venison sausage rolls, game pies and rabbit pasta, if there's any left!

Throughout 2009 the acclaimed Countryman Fairs Food Festival has become increasingly popular at each of their spring and summer events and is a not to be missed feature of the Midland Game Fair.
