A text message alert on his mobile phone helped a new home buyer get the plot he wanted for his young family.

And now Saneth Wijayaratna (34), a director at TeleMedCare, a medical device business, and his family are now enjoying life at the Miller Homes East Midlands Dukes Mead development in Bingham.

"With a young family and busy lives, we wanted to move somewhere where we could just move into," says Saneth, who is married to Claire, and has two children, Daniel (three) and Hannah (nine months).
