Derbyshire fitness presenter, Rachel Holmes has become the first
in the country to offer an on-line qualification in fitness
instructing to music.
Rachel, based in Langley Mill, has used her 23 years experience
in the fitness industry to translate the Active IQ Level 2
certificate in fitness instructing - exercise to music
qualification into an on-line module, which is now available
through her Choreography To Go website.
The qualification is the industry standard for those wanting to
teach exercise to music consists of an on-line theory paper, the
filmed delivery of a 60-minute exercise to music class and a
session planning section. Students will also be assigned a mentor
in their local area to help them through the course.
Choreography To Go has more than 400 downloadable choreography
and Exercise to Music videos including Bollywood dancing,
cheerleading and body conditioning to name just a few. These help
instructors provide a multitude of ideas for class content and
lesson planning to inspire their students.
The on-line course is ideal for school teachers or gym
instructors. E-learning provides many people with the most
practical and accessible way to gain a qualification and can be
completed at any time and to suit any pace.
Commenting on the innovative new on-line course, Rachel
said: "I am delighted to be able to offer the Exercise to

entire course is completed by students on-line, from the comfort of
their own home, with the added support of an assigned local area
mentor."

Rachel, who started her own business at just 18, has trained
more than 2,500 fitness instructors globally.
