Two award-winning West Midlands IT companies have merged to
create new jobs.
Netlink IT, based in Birmingham, and JamesCash.co.uk, of Dudley,
who are both going from strength to strength, teamed up to
accelerate their growth and service to West Midlands and UK
businesses.
They are moving to larger offices with JamesCash.co.uk, who last
year scooped the Brite (crct) Spark Award, for inspiring
leadership. Eight jobs will be created in the merger, over the next
three years.
They will focus on working with local organisations,
predominantly small and medium sized business, educational
and charitable organisations, helping them use technology to enable
their businesses to run efficiently.
Richard, a well-known figure in the IT industry, recently
addressed the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans
to tell how Birmingham companies were emerging ready from the
recession.
He said: "We have helped customers save money and do more
with less in the recession.
"Business is all about building trust and partnerships. We
have previously collaborated and exchanged ideas with
JamesCash.co.uk, and now we are taking that relationship to the
next level.
"The merger means that we can offer a better service to clients,
with a deeper and wider knowledge of how to make their operations
run with the greatest efficiency."
Netlink IT recently won an Accredit award for Excellence, and
was one of 60 companies selected to work with Microsoft worldwide
to deliver the first examples of Windows 7, released next month
(October).
James Cash, managing director of JamesCash.co.uk, based in
Dixons Green, Dudley, said: "This will allow us to accelerate
the growth of our service, with more engineers with increased
technical skill sets, with a better and wider range of services for
clients.
"This will have the twin benefit of saving companies from the
expense of their systems going down, which can cost thousands of
pounds, and helping increase their sales through better
communication with customers."
Richard Tubb and James Cash also helped to head up the first UK
Heartlands Technology Group, formed to encourage industry members
to develop and grow through sharing best practice.
