Telford-based care specialists The Complete Group have been
shortlisted in two categories for the prestigious Shropshire
Partners in Care awards.
Clinical nurse specialist Sue McCarthy, who lives in Shrewsbury,
has reached the final three in the Nurse of the Year category,
while the Complete Group as a whole is in the running for Care
Business of the Year.
Shropshire Partners in Care (SPIC) represents the interests of
adult health and social care providers across the county, and
organised the care awards - now in their third year - to recognise
the efforts of staff and care companies who work to support
vulnerable and needy residents in the county. The awards are open
to all members of SPIC and their employees.
To be considered for the award, Complete Group had to provide
evidence of its policies and procedures, while in the case of Sue,
they included testimonials from clients and colleagues on the high
standard of her work.
The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony on
Friday, 11 September, at Shrewsbury Town's Prostar Stadium.
Director of Operations Rachael Allen said: "We're very proud as
a company to be on the shortlist for Care Business of the Year, and
are also delighted that Sue is in the running for Nurse of the
Year.
"The two nominations are a real tribute to the quality of the
team we have here, and the company's efforts in helping all our
staff reach their potential."
