Following the relocation of regional search and selection consultancy Blusource Professional Services to a new HQ in Nottingham city centre, the rapidly expanding company has announced the appointment of a new director to lead the Blusource Professional business.

Ben Walker, who was most recently managing director of his own niche search business, has joined the board to spearhead the national growth of Blusource Professional across the Accountancy Practice, Commerce & Industry and Public Sector. With 10 years accountancy sector and business start up experience, Ben feels that the predicted upturn in the economy provides Blusource Professional with the ideal timing to go to market with a genuinely bespoke range of services for prospective clients and candidates.

Blusource chief executive Andrew Springhall said: "Ben possesses an array of commercial attributes that clearly made him the ideal choice to lead the development of Blusource Professional. More importantly, he epitomises the company's ethos of quality and integrity, combined with a personal approach. Ben represents a key appointment in terms of Blusource's expansion and I am sure that his extensive list of industry contacts and reputation for completing senior level appointments within the accountancy profession will provide us with a valuable advantage as we build the business".

Originally from Nottinghamshire, Ben currently lives in the West Midlands and in his spare time is a keen (though not always entirely accurate) game and clay shooter.
